March 2026: Your Workers Just Joined the Group Chat 💬

Hey there 👋 March was the month your AI workers stopped being solo acts. The headliner? WhatsApp Groups — your workers can now join group chats and collaborate with your whole team (or your clients) in real time. But that’s not all: we also shipped an embeddable website widget, proactive check-ins, SharePoint, and a stack of quality-of-life improvements. Let’s get into it.

🆕 What’s New

WhatsApp Groups

Add your AI workers to any WhatsApp group — they’ll jump in when needed. This changes everything. Workers with a dedicated WhatsApp number can now be added to WhatsApp groups, just like any other contact. Once in, they read every message and autonomously decide whether to respond. Mention them directly and they’ll always reply. Ask a question they can help with, and they’ll jump in. Casual chatter between humans? They’ll stay quiet. It’s like having a team member who’s always available, never interrupts unnecessarily, and actually reads the whole thread before responding. Why you’ll love it: Your workers are no longer limited to 1:1 conversations. Think shared client groups, internal team channels, property guest chats — any group where an AI teammate would be useful. How it works:
  1. Make sure your worker has a dedicated WhatsApp number (Settings → WhatsApp)
  2. Add the worker’s number to any WhatsApp group
  3. The worker automatically joins and starts listening
  4. Mention the worker or ask something it can help with — it’ll respond
Good to know:
  • Workers decide on each message whether their input is needed — no spam, no noise
  • Your manager account must be in the group for the worker to participate
  • Group conversations are tracked separately from 1:1 DMs
  • Workers can leave a group when asked by the manager
  • Group interactions count toward your plan’s external communications usage, so keep an eye on token consumption if your groups are active

Embeddable Website Widget

Put your AI workers on your website — no code required. Your workers aren’t just inbox creatures anymore. With the new embeddable widget, visitors interact with your AI workers right on your site — in real time. Everything flows into the same Oversight panel. Generate a widget key, drop a snippet, you’re live. File uploads, localization, full customization — all built in. Why you’ll love it: Your workers just became your 24/7 front desk. No hiring, no scheduling, no missed inquiries. Set it up: Worker → Settings → Widget → Generate key and embed.

Proactive Worker Check-ins

Your workers now reach out when something needs your attention. Workers now periodically review their open work and proactively surface items that need follow-up, without you asking. Like having a coworker who actually reads their to-do list. Why you’ll love it: Less “let me check on that” — more “here’s what you need to know.” Available on: Basic plans and above, with check-in frequency scaling by plan tier.

SharePoint Integration

Connect your SharePoint workspace to your AI workers. Workers can now access and work with your SharePoint files and documents. If your team lives in the Microsoft ecosystem, this one’s for you. Why you’ll love it: No more downloading from SharePoint to upload elsewhere. Workers go straight to the source. Connect it: Worker → Tools → Add SharePoint → Authorize.

Install Spinnable as an App

Desktop shortcut. Home screen icon. One click to open. Spinnable now supports PWA installation — add it to your desktop or phone for a native-app feel with faster load times. Look for the install prompt or use your browser’s “Install” option. Why you’ll love it: No more hunting through browser tabs. It’s the little things.

Email Domain Whitelisting

Control exactly who can email your workers. Set up domain-level whitelisting for inbound emails — block-all, allow-all, or whitelist specific domains per worker. Keep noise out and keep your workers focused on trusted senders. Why you’ll love it: Your workers focus on the emails that matter. Everything else gets the velvet rope treatment. Find it: Worker → Settings → Email → Domain Whitelisting.

💡 Tip of the Month

Start with a Small, Focused WhatsApp Group The most effective way to try WhatsApp Groups? Don’t go big right away. Create a small group — just you, the worker, and one or two teammates or clients. Give the worker a clear job policy so it knows when to chime in and what topics it owns. A property manager? Add your worker to a guest group for a specific property. A sales team? Create a deal-specific group where the worker pulls CRM data on demand. A support team? Let the worker handle FAQs while humans tackle the tricky stuff. Once you see the magic of an AI teammate in a group chat, you’ll want them everywhere. Get started: Set up a dedicated WhatsApp number → Create a group → Add the worker → Watch it go.

📖 From the Field

Our own team has used workers in work Whatsapp groups to easily create tasks, get information and start work from casual remarks. We’ve also started to use it in family groups to organize tasks, trips and more 🎧

🔮 Coming Up

April is shaping up nicely:
  • Multi-worker handoffs — Workers passing tasks between each other seamlessly. The collaboration story continues.
  • More integrations — We’re not done. Your most-requested tools are still on the list.
  • First-week experience — Smarter guidance to help new users get value faster.
Stay tuned. 👀
