May 2026: Your Workers Just Got a Whole Lot More Powerful 🚀

Hey |FNAME| 👋 May was a big one. Your AI workers can now manage other workers, juggle full Projects across conversations, send you images directly on WhatsApp, and you’ve got a brand-new Workspace to see it all happening. Here’s everything that landed this month.

🆕 What’s New

Workers as Co-Managers — AI-to-AI collaboration, finally here

Your workers can now oversee and manage other workers. You can now assign one worker as a co-manager of another. That means workers can delegate tasks, coordinate with each other, and run whole workflows autonomously — no check-in from you required. Think of it as building a team inside your team. Why you’ll love it: You stop being the relay. Your workers handle the handoffs while you stay focused on the things only you can do. Find it: Worker → Settings → Co-Managers.

Projects — The best way to get more out of your workers

Your workers can now manage work that spans days, weeks, and many conversations. This one’s a quiet game-changer. Workers can create, update, and track Projects: structured efforts with goals, tasks, and progress notes that persist across every conversation. Start a research initiative today, pick it up next Thursday, and your worker already knows exactly where things stand. Projects combined with Skills are one of the most powerful ways to unlock better performance from your workers. Skills give your worker repeatable expertise; Projects give it a living workspace to track complex work over time. Together, your workers become genuinely autonomous operators. Why you’ll love it: No more re-briefing. No more “here’s the context again.” Your worker owns it — across days, weeks, and dozens of conversations. Try it: “Create a project for [whatever you’re working on].”

WhatsApp Media — Your workers can now send you images, files, and more

Get deliverables directly on WhatsApp — including freshly created images. Workers can now send and receive files, photos, and multi-image albums over WhatsApp. This works beautifully with the image generation tool your workers already use. Ask your worker to design something and receive it straight in your pocket. Try it: “Create an image of a sunset over Lisbon and send it to me on WhatsApp.” WhatsApp just became a genuinely complete channel for getting things done with your workers — not just text, but real deliverables landing directly in your hands.

Workspace — Your Spinnable office

See everything your workers are doing in one place. Click the Spinnable logo on the top-left corner and you’ll land in your Workspace — think of it as your Spinnable office. You get a live view of all recent activity from your workers: who’s working on what, what needs your attention, and what just got done. It’s designed to give you that “team in action” feeling. We’d love your feedback on it — just reply to this email and tell us what you think.

Google Search Console Integration — SEO insights on autopilot

Workers can now pull your search performance data and surface what matters. Connect Google Search Console and your workers can track keyword rankings, monitor performance trends, and flag anything worth your attention. Perfect for content and marketing workflows that need live data. Find it: Worker → Tools → Add Google Search Console.

Calendly Integration — Scheduling, fully automated

Workers can now manage your Calendly links, check availability, and coordinate meetings. Pair Calendly with your calendar integration and you’ve got a scheduling workflow that runs end to end — no back-and-forth, no manual booking. Just done. Find it: Worker → Tools → Add Calendly.

✨ Also Shipped

  • Google Tasks Integration — Workers can now create, update, and complete Google Tasks alongside everything else they handle. Your lists stay in sync.
  • Attio Integration — Connect your CRM and let workers keep contacts, pipeline stages, and activity logs up to date automatically.
  • Smarter AI Reliability — Workers now automatically fall back to alternative AI models when a provider has issues. Your workers stay running, even when the underlying AI has a hiccup.
  • More Reliable Slack Connection — Slack OAuth now uses server-side state storage, fixing connection failures from URL truncation. Less friction, more flow.
  • Slack in Automated Skills — Workers can now include Slack actions inside their hard skills for fully autonomous workflows.
  • Webhook GET Support — Trigger webhooks with simple GET requests. More integrations, less friction.
  • Worker Transfer — Move a worker to a new owner directly from settings. Memory, skills, and tools stay intact.
  • In-App Announcements — Feature announcements now appear directly inside the app. You’ll never miss what shipped.
  • Better Code Error Feedback — When code execution fails, workers now explain exactly what went wrong — out of memory, timeout, syntax error.
  • Smarter Workspace Landing — Users with active workers land on the workspace by default. Faster start, less clicking.
  • Inline Conversation Renaming — Rename conversations right from the sidebar with a quick click.
  • Cleaner Worker Memory — Workers avoid duplicating learnings, keeping their knowledge base sharp and relevant.
  • Stronger WhatsApp Context — Workers maintain better thread awareness in WhatsApp for more coherent conversations.
  • Duplicate Email Prevention — Workers won’t accidentally send the same email twice to the same recipient in a single task.
  • Better Email Delivery — Improved email verification tolerance means fewer legitimate messages get blocked.

💡 Tip of the Month: Build a Worker Team

Now that workers can co-manage each other, this is a great moment to think architecturally. Try setting up one “coordinator” worker whose job is to brief and oversee your specialist workers. Give it context about your goals and a list of who does what — then let it run the show. You’re not just using AI. You’re building an AI team. Try it: “You’re the team lead. Here are the workers on your team and what they do…”

🔮 Coming Up

  • 🔹 Smarter memory — your workers will get better at remembering what matters across conversations
  • 🔹 More reliable runs — fewer failures, graceful recovery when things get complex
  • 🔹 Custom worker emails — give your worker a company email (richard@mycompany.com instead of richard@getspinnable.ai)
  • 🔹 Faster chat — a more reliable, snappier chat experience
Stay tuned 👀

A note on WhatsApp reliability

This month we experienced a disruption in our WhatsApp service. It’s a growing pain as we scale to more users, and we know how important WhatsApp is for all of you — including us. We’re big Spinnable users ourselves, and this channel is critical to how we work every day. We’re prioritising WhatsApp reliability to ensure everything runs smoothly going forward. If you’re still experiencing any issues, you should expect normal behaviour within the next few hours. Thank you for your patience. We take this seriously. 💚
Got feedback? Just reply — we read every message. The Spinnable Team 💚
