Outlook (read only)

Retrieves inbox messages and threads from Outlook.
Outlook is split into three separate tools: Outlook (read only) for reading your inbox, Outlook (send only) for sending emails, and Outlook Calendar for scheduling. You can grant one, two, or all three to your workers.

What Your Workers Can Do

With Outlook (read only), your workers can monitor your inbox, search for specific messages, analyze email threads, and provide summaries—without the ability to send or modify anything. Popular use cases:
  • Daily inbox summaries and triage
  • Find specific emails or information
  • Monitor for urgent messages
  • Track email conversations
  • Extract action items from email threads
  • Coordinate with Microsoft Teams

Authentication

Type: OAuth 2.0 Sign in with your Microsoft account—Spinnable receives a secure access token.

Important Notes

Read-only means safe: Workers with this tool can only view your emails—they cannot send, delete, or modify anything. Perfect for monitoring and analysis tasks.
